Step 1: API Key Configuration

• Enter Your API Key: Input your OpenAI API key in the sidebar to activate the text-to-​speech service. If you do not have an API key:
  
• Click on the information icon next to the API key input box.
  
• Follow the instructions to register and generate an OpenAI API key.
  

Step 2: Configure Your Conversion

• Document Selection: Choose to convert the 'Entire Document' or 'Selected Text '.
  
• Language and Translation: If needed, select 'Yes' for translation and choose your ​desired language from the dropdown menu.
  
• Voice and Speed: Select your preferred voice style and adjust the speech speed to ​your liking.
  
• File Name: Enter a name for your output MP3 file.
  

Step 3: Consent and Convert

• User Consent: Check the box to consent to the use of your data by AI models for ​conversion purposes.
  
• Convert: Click the 'Convert' button to start the conversion process. A loading ​indicator will appear while VoiceIt processes your document.
  

Step 4: Access Your Audio File

• View File: Once the conversion is complete, a link to 'View Created File' will appear. ​Click this link to access and play your audio file directly from Google Drive.
  
• Cost Information: After each conversion, the sidebar will display a detailed cost ​breakdown of the API usage, ensuring transparency.
